After the transcoded sequence is made, load it into the Source monitor and again

select Special

> Enable Digital Video Out. This time, the toggle button should turn blue

without any errors.

Mark an in point at the beginning and an out point at the end of your sequence.

Select Clip

> Render In/Out. You could also select Clip > Expert Render In/Out, but

let’s face it, you’ll render all the effects with software only. Fortunately, you’re using a

very fast computer so this won’t take much time at all … ight?

Please note: You can also use this procedure with 28:1 if you are working with

24p or 25p projects.

Rendering with Mojo

If you’re using the optional Mojo, you can rely on Expert Render to let the system

determine which effects need to be rendered in order to play back your sequence.

Here’s how to set it up: Mark an in point at the beginning of the sequence and an out

point at the end; then highlight all your tracks, both video and audio. Select Clip

Expert Render. The Expert Render menu appears. Select the Prepare Effects For Digital

Cut option at the bottom of the menu and click OK. The system will render the neces-

sary effects, and you’re ready to proceed.
